Surgical treatment of thyroid and parathyroid disorders

Practical Endocrine Neck Surgery

Dear colleagues,

We would like to cordially invite you to our 5th thyroid course on 21 and 22 January 2027 in Hamm/Westphalia, Germany, specialising in thyroid/parathyroid surgery.

In addition to lectures by speakers from various specialities, experienced surgeons from the field of ENT medicine will perform live operations on the thyroid and parathyroid glands. We have also integrated a sonography course before our actual surgery course, in which the patients for the live operations will also be presented.

The lectures will focus on special topics in thyroid/parathyroid surgery that are of general interest to every surgeon. Topics include the general endocrinology of the thyroid gland, the value of frozen section diagnostics in the surgical setting, the basics of nuclear medicine for the surgeon and special features of surgery for various clinical pictures.

We would like to conclude our course with presentations on hyperparathyroidism, which is a speciality of our parathyroid surgery and for which we are dependent on close cooperation with our colleagues in nephrology to determine the indication and support.

We hope to have put together an interesting programme, especially for ENT physicians but also for physicians from other specialist disciplines, and would like to give you plenty of time to exchange ideas with colleagues.

The last training course in 2026 was certified with 14 points (category: C) by the Westphalia-Lippe Medical Association.

Conference fee

Up to and including 30 September 2026:
450 Euro

From 1 October 2026:
550 Euro

For assistants in further training: 350 Euro
No fee is charged for participating students.

Proof is required in each case.

Please note: Due to the limited number of participants (25), please register in good time. Places will be allocated according to the number of registrations received. Pre-registrations have already been received.

Registration takes place on a first-come-first-served basis.

Online registration is strongly recommended.

Payment

Once you have registered for the course, we will send you confirmation and an invoice. On the basis of the invoice, please make a bank transfer to the bank account stated on the invoice.

We will send an e-mail confirmation after receiving the payment.

Note: Please note that all bank charges must be paid in full by the participant.
